After organizing the tiket.com Berbagi Sehat donation movement in the first phase of March 28 to April 5, 2020, Tiket.com symbolically handed over 800 Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for medical personnel, the results of exchanging TIX Points for customers and CSR ticket funds. com to the Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) team at ACT Menara 165 headquarters, East Cilandak, South Jakarta on April 15, 2020.
Donated items consist of surgical masks, medical-certified hand sanitizers, multivitamins to maintain endurance, hand gloves and hazmat suits that will be distributed by ACT teams to 38 hospitals throughout Indonesia that still need PPE for its medical staff.
Continuing the spirit of sharing, tiket.com launched the second phase of ticket.com Berbagi Sehat starting on April 15-22, 2020. In this second phase, tiket.com invites customers to donate their TIX Points to be exchanged for various TIX points starting from Rp10. 000, Rp. 20,000, Rp. 50,000, Rp. 100,000, Rp. 200,000 and Rp. 500,000. Furthermore, the results of this donation will be combined with tiket.com’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds for the purchase of basic food needs for daily workers in the tourism sector affected by COVID-19.
The second phase of TIX Point raising is focused on lighting up the burdens of daily life needs of the worker from tourism sector such as station porters, pedicab drivers, small traders, local tour guides and others who are currently experiencing a decline and even loss of income. With the adoption of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) policy and a discretion to stay at home, the number of people who will travel is declined and impacting the tourism sector, especially daily workers whose their livelihoods depend on this industrial sector.
